Dr. Jordan R. Brown
We are not made for the circumstances we have been given. Our potential is far greater than the monotony of daily life that we accept as the extent of possibility. And our spirit is far more powerful than we have been taught to believe. We are not helpless and weak, confined to a life of small victories and fleeting moments of contentment. The dissatisfaction, longing, and existential dread are not feelings that need to be pushed down, distracted, or medicated. They are common to us all and unyielding because there is something beyond the ordinary right here, in this place, which beckons us to see ourselves, and each other, with the clarity the Creator intended.

About Jordan
Jordan is a writer living in South Carolina with a diverse background that informs his philosophical perspective. He has spent time in business, founded a Hispanic outreach ministry, volunteered for years with several nonprofits, worked as an abstract artist, and served as an adjunct professor in political science. The opportunity to see the world from several different angles and hear stories from people of multiple cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds brought to light the similarities we all share. Similar struggles, similar spiritual strength and awareness, and similar hopes for the future. 57 Pages is not autobiographical, though the many themes are born of personal experience. Each part of the book is instead an amalgamation of unique experiences shared through conversation that have a seed of truth common to all of us. A story of frustration, contentment, joy, and pain. And then ultimately of seeking and finding.
